Forgetting Birth Control Injections, 2 Weeks Late Menstruation And Negative Test Pack Results?
Hello, I am ita. age 28 years old, it’s been 3 years, I don’t have family planning injections once a month, but a month ago I forgot to take the injection and immediately had sex with my husband, I was already menstruating 2 weeks late. and 4 x using the Tespack the results are negative. can I continue my kb injection. and could i possibly get pregnant ?? thanks . please give an explanation
Menstrual delays can be caused by many things y time =
KB side effects.
Drug side effects.
Stress and fatigue.
Polycystic ovary syndrome.
Because you have checked your pregnancy early with a testpack with negative results two weeks after the menstrual delay, the chances of you getting pregnant are very small. To make sure you can do another check, namely waiting a week later for another testpack or doing an ultrasound.
On a negative testpack, you can continue the birth control injection according to your schedule. Of course you should provide additional protection for 2 weeks after injection with other contraceptives to prevent pregnancy after injection.
Make sure you remember and follow your Kb injection schedule for optimal results and effectiveness of pregnancy prevention.
I hope this helps.
