Freckles On The Right Face Since Childhood?
I want to ask. My face on the right has a lot of freckles, half face. My mother said when I was born there were no spots. And at the age of about 2 years, these spots appear under the nose and increasingly spread to half the face. I am now 16 years old and I am very disturbed by it. Sometimes I become insecure. The disease that I experienced was a birthmark or not huh? Then how is the handling? Thanks.
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The appearance of freckles on some faces does not always reflect a dangerous condition. However, if you find these spots are increasingly spread and very disturbing your confidence, it never hurts to check it directly to the doctor or dermatologist so that the right solution is given in accordance with the underlying conditions.
Birthmarks, often will appear as patches of skin blackish, bluish, reddish, or purplish that appears in certain parts of the skin. The size of the spots that appear can vary, ranging from small (such as spots that you experience) to a larger one. These birthmarks occur due to deposition of melanin pigment in an area of the skin, which is harmless, and generally will fade with age. If this is the condition that underlies your complaint, of course you do not need to worry about it.
However, it could also be, spots on part of the face as you experience arising from other triggers, such as nevi (moles), melasma, lentigo, macula cafe aulait, phototoxic or pho-allergic reactions, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, skin infections, contact dermatitis, dermatitis, dermatitis atopic, drug eruption, benign or malignant tumors, and so on. For this reason, as we suggest above, you should check with your doctor directly. Some types of tests, such as allergy tests, biopsies, etc. may also be recommended by your doctor to make it clear what the best management needs to be done.
For now, it's best not to manipulate the spot in any way. Also avoid giving treatment carelessly on these spots without doctor's advice. Bathe more diligently and cleanly, also wash your face using mild cleansing soap and is suitable for your skin type. Finally, use sunscreen and moisturizer before activating, especially outdoor activities.
I hope this helps.
