Fruits For Pancreatic Cancer Sufferers?
1 if you have this disease, can you drink water from a dispenser (aqua gallon) or not? Is it only drinkable carrot juice, beets, apples? if there are other juices, what can it be? Thank you 🙂
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Pancreatic cancer sufferers certainly have to get enough fluids like people in general. Therefore, you are of course still advised to drink enough fluids every day (at least 2-3 liters a day, or drink more if you experience vomiting). The liquid you drink can be any liquid, water is highly recommended (water from a dispenser or gallon water you may drink), fruit and vegetable juices, electrolyte fluids, coconut water, and other liquids. You can drink any vegetable and fruit juices (not limited to carrot juice, beets, and apples only), you are advised to consume colorful vegetables and fruits to get various vitamins and minerals from your food. These colorful fruits and vegetables are fine for you to eat directly or for juice. Some things you need to make sure are:
choose a good water source (do not drink raw tap water or refill water whose source is unknown whether good or not) do not add sugar to the liquid you drink (avoid also eating too much sugary foods) reduce caffeinated drinks reduce drinks that have diuretic or triggering properties (such as tea for example) avoid drinking alcohol You can also consult directly with a nutritionist to know clearly what foods and drinks are good for you to eat and meal plans that are appropriate for your condition.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
