Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Measurement of fundal height (the highest part of the uterus) can indeed be used as a way to assess the health of the fetus in the womb. At 25 weeks of gestation, the normal fundal height is about 2 fingers above the navel, which is between 22 to 25 cm when measured from above the pubic symphysis bone.
At first glance, your fundal height is indeed much smaller than your estimated gestational age. This can be caused by several factors, including:
Errors in determining gestational age Errors in measuring fundal height Transverse fetal position Oligohydramnios (lack of amniotic fluid) Inhibition of fetal development in utero, for example due to hypertension, placental abnormalities, congenital defects, etc. To determine whether your condition is still considered normal or necessary watch out, you should confirm the results of the external examination by checking with a gynecologist for an ultrasound (ultrasonography). Thus, it can be assessed more accurately the health of your fetus in the womb. If it is true that your gestational age is 25 weeks, then the normal fetal weight ranges from 675 to 750 grams with a length ranging from 30 to 31 cm.
At this time, you should not worry too much first. Always take care of the health of your womb by always eating healthy and nutritious foods, drinking enough, limiting tiring activities, staying away from cigarettes and alcohol, and taking regular breaks.
I hope this helps.
