Hello Kintania, Thank you for the question.
Have you consulted your doctor for further tests? Are you experiencing other symptoms such as coughing, runny nose, shortness of breath, fever, cold sweat, palpitations?
Gastric acid disease or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a condition of weakening the muscles of the lower part of the esophagus that causes stomach acid to flow back into the esophagus and cause irritation to the walls of the esophagus. GERD sufferers can experience symptoms of heartburn, chest pain, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, shortness of breath, dry cough, a lump in the throat, weight loss. Besides GERD, complaints of chest pain can indeed be caused by various other health conditions such as pleurisy, costchondritis, pleural effusion, anxiety disorders, cardiac dysfunction, and others.
Please try to resolve GERD complaints by:
avoid consuming spicy, fatty and oily foods
Avoid consumption of caffeinated, fizzy, and alcoholic drinks
Avoid lying down after eating
avoid consuming large portions of food but should consume smaller but more frequent meals
If with medication and lifestyle modification, you still experience chest pain and other complaints or if you have other concerns, please consult with a specialist in internal medicine for further examination. The doctor will ask further questions about your complaint and examine you before determining the next treatment.
Hopefully this information is useful.
