Gonorrhea If Not Cured, Can It Be HIV Or Something?
I get gonorrhea if I don’t recover, can it be HIV or something?
Hello Aries, Thank you for the question.
Have you seen a doctor and ascertain the cause? What symptoms are you experiencing? Do you experience discharge from the penis? If so, discharge from the penis can be caused by:
gonorrhea Chlamydia trichomoniasis Urinary tract infections Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection caused by the bacterium Neiserria gonorrhea which is transmitted through unprotected sexual intercourse and from mother to baby during labor. In addition to discharge from the penis, men who experience gonorrhea also experience pain during urination. If you experience discharge from the penis, it is recommended that you see a doctor. The doctor will ask about your complaints and examine you, including checking fluid from the penis to be examined in the laboratory to determine the cause. If gonorrhea is confirmed, you will be treated with two antibiotics, injectable antibiotics and tablet antibiotics. After receiving this treatment, you are advised to avoid intercourse for at least 7 days. If you still experience the same complaint, there are several possibilities, namely:
You receive inappropriate treatment. You have antibiotic resistance. You have other infections mentioned above. You have an infection again (re-infection), for example, because you continue to have risky unprotected sex (condoms). HIV infection does not cause symptoms of discharge from the penis. However, if you take risky actions (changing partners and having unprotected sex), you also have a risk of contracting HIV. Therefore, you are usually also advised to undergo a blood test to detect whether you are infected with HIV or not. Please discuss more with your dermatologist and skin specialist.
It is also recommended that you avoid free sex and if it is not possible, you should use a condom if you have sex.
Hopefully this information is useful.
