Good Milk Is Good For Newborn Babies?
I want to ask what milk is good and good for my baby, who was only born at 2 days old?
Hello, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
The best food that can be given to babies up to 6 months of age is breast milk (ASI). Infants are recommended to be exclusively breastfed (breast milk only, without other food or drink) for 6 months then continued breastfeeding together with complementary foods (complementary foods) until the age of 1 year, and breastfeeding can be continued until the child is 2 years old.
If for some reason breastmilk cannot be given, then babies under 1 year of age must be given formula milk that is appropriate for their age. The recommended formula is cow's milk-based formula (not soy-based). Regarding the brands of formula milk that you can provide, you can adjust it to your child's preferences. Before giving certain formula milk, you should discuss it with your child's doctor first.
