PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) occurs when the egg cells in the ovary fail to experience perfect maturation, which disturbed ovulation, and instead filled with fluid to form small cysts. This condition can cause a woman to experience abdominal cramps, menstrual pattern disorders, even difficulty conceiving if not handled properly.


The exact cause of PCOS is unknown until now. But hormonal disorders (especially excess insulin and androgens), inflammatory disorders, also genetically suspected to trigger this disease. Therefore, the consumption of a large antioxidant effect in inhibiting the severity of cysts, while also can also restore hormonal balance, so that menstruation is more regular and the potential for pregnancy will be even greater.


There are many good sources of antioxidants consumed by people with PCOS, including vitamin D, vitamin E, folic acid, and various other vitamins and minerals.
