Got Chickenpox For 4 Days And Pus Came Out Is It A Healing Process?
I was 16 years old with chicken pox. After 4 days and now it comes out like Nana ulcers like that. I guess that’s what the healing process is?
Hello Bidin, thank you for using the HealthReplies.com service.
Varicella or chicken pox is a Varicella zoster virus infection that attacks the skin and mucosa which can be transmitted through the air and direct contact with patients. Patients with this disease usually come with complaints of fever, weakness, headache, then followed by a rash on the skin. There are 3 stages of rash development before reaching the healing stage. The stages are in the form of:
Prominent red rash The rash then becomes a fluid-filled blister (vesicle), which can rupture in a few days. The blister blisters break, removing yellow or brown serum which then becomes dry crust (crust), and can disappear within a few days. The three stages of developing chickenpox rash in the body do not take place at the same time. New rashes appear continuously and only disappear completely within 14 days.
Normally, varicella can heal by itself. If you get a wound that emits serum like that, as long as you do not scratch the wound and cause a new bacterial infection, it is still considered normal.
However, if you get the following signs, it is advisable to immediately check yourself with a general practitioner or dermatologist, so that a thorough examination can be done, so that treatment can be given according to your diagnosis.
Rashes on one or both eyes The color of the rash becomes very red and warm, which indicates a secondary bacterial infection Dizziness, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, trembling, vomiting, cough that gets worse, neck stiffness, or fever exceeds 39 degrees Celsius. As for the things you can do right now are:
- Reducing skin friction so that vesicles do not break
- Eat foods high in calories and high in protein
- Enough rest
- Prevents contact with others
- Using calamine lotion to reduce itching
Such information that I can provide, hopefully can help you.
