Greenish Yellow Vomiting, Palpitations And Dizziness During 7 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
Doctor, I’m 7 weeks pregnant. There used to be a history of gastric infection. Once inside week 6, I feel nauseous and vomit. Often the vomiting is a greenish-yellow liquid. Very weak body condition, heart palpitations, and often dizzy. Is this normal morning sickness or does it need special handling ,?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, pregnant women in the first trimester often experience symptoms of nausea and vomiting. This symptom is caused by the influence of pregnancy hormones which increase high in the first trimester of this pregnancy. Symptoms of nausea and vomiting usually begin to decrease and disappear after entering the second trimester.
Although nausea, vomiting is a fairly common symptom, nausea and vomiting are so severe that it makes you unable to eat and drink requires further attention. Vomiting until the greenish liquid comes out also needs further attention. Other symptoms that you experience (body weakness, dizziness, palpitations), most likely indicate that you have a lack of fluids (dehydration). In such conditions as you experience, you should immediately check with your obstetrician (do not just go to the midwife) for further evaluation and management.
For now, here are a few things you can try to do:
You should drink more fluids. If you vomit if you drink liquids in large quantities at once, drink small amounts but more often (for example, take a sip every 5 minutes). You can drink whatever liquid you want, but you can try to drink water / warm ginger tea or warm lemon water / tea to help reduce nausea. You can try to drink drinks that contain calories such as smoothies to help add fluid and increase your calories if you cannot eat enough because of nausea Eat whenever you feel you can eat Avoid foods that are too spicy and too oily because it will trigger nausea and vomiting rest more Consumption of pregnancy vitamins regularly, you can add vitamin B6 supplementation to reduce nausea
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
