Hair Loss Or Skin Disease?
, I want to ask. I am a teenager aged 19n, recently my hair has fallen out a lot which causes round baldness in certain spots on my head. I thought at first it was just a pimple because sometimes in the morning, the skin on the spots was hard so I was ‘cramped’ like dry pimples. but when I pull out the skin the hair sometimes comes off. n nplease help, is this a problem of my scalp or what? please provide a solution yes … thank you
Good evening, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. Both men and women, hair is an important crown for appearance, so of course especially for men who are quite young like you, such hair condition can be unsettling. Among the possible conditions are:
Head fungal infection or tinea capitis Alopecia areata, a condition due to an immune system disorder Telogen effluvium Symptoms of secondary syphilis
So of course further examination by an expert is needed to be able to diagnose and determine the most appropriate treatment for you. Our advice is that you should check your complaint with a skin and genital specialist, for later the dermatologist will conduct a history exploration that revolves around your daily life and health, through direct examination, and perhaps also support by taking samples from the affected scalp. The treatment that you will receive later depends on the results of this examination, if it is because of a fungal infection, you will be given anti-fungal, if because of an immune system disorder, you will be given immune system suppressants and so on.
Meanwhile, avoid scratching, plucking or applying anything to your scalp and hair. Keep your bed and pillows clean, shampoo regularly and avoid sharing things with other people. Get well soon.
That's all, hope it helps.
