Hand Wound Care Caused By Broken Glass?
Afternoon! I am still confused even though my question has been answered before. R nIf my hand is hit / scratched by broken glass, it’s easy to handle. But what if the broken beads as big as sand ??? r nSo I just tripped and I accidentally hit the glass. The position of my hand, like I want to punch someone in a fist. So the affected part is the outer finger. There are torn marks (1) size (1), there are also those that are only small and medium cuts such as slightly bloody red dots. Now what I want to ask, after being punched in glass and seeing that on the back of my skin my fingers are full of glass as big as sand and bleeding all at once, I wash it quickly. After washing I cover my hands with a mini towel a few minutes my wound dries and does not hurt when pressed. But there is still a reflection of clear light like glass in my wound. R n r nHow to make sure it’s real glass or just the reflection of the blood light freezing ?? r n r nPlease apologize in advance huh hehe, I instead the story is because I’m really worried, I can’t consult a doctor anymore, there are obstacles. So just a small handler at home … If you can. R n r nI’m Fathur Rachman, 16 years old. Please respond. Thank you

Glass is a clear object, and broken glass can be small, fine flakes that if it hits the skin it's often rather difficult to remove. Blood clots will not reflect light like glass. Generally the blood clot will form a brownish red clot and close the wound so that bleeding does not occur again. If you are in doubt and are worried that there is still broken glass or not, irrigate the wound with sterile liquid, which is to spray 0.9% NaCl liquid or other sterile liquid onto the wound surface. Spray and rinse until the wound is clean.
To help improve and speed up the process of wound healing, several things that must be considered include:
Maintain cleanliness of the wound by routinely changing the bandage every 2 days
Eat foods high in protein
Not much activity and avoid strenuous activities
Consumption of vitamin C
Cold compress if painful
If there are other complaints that interfere, do not hesitate to carry out consultations and examinations to the nearest general practitioner or to a surgeon. So much information that I can convey, hopefully it helps
