Handling For Cylinder And Minus Eyes?
Hello, I want to ask about cylinder eyes. My left eye was diagnosed with cylinder -3.5. My right eye is normal. I often feel dizzy at certain hours. R nI have consulted with an ophthalmologist to use cylindrical glasses and currently I use them. The symptoms of dizziness have reduced or disappeared and the vision is better. R nBut when I wear glasses and I close my normal eyes (I see with my cylindrical eyes wearing glasses), the surrounding view is still shaded. Is it really like that if you suffer from a single eye cylinder? I asked optics when I tried glasses, he said it was like that and vision wearing glasses must wear 2 eyes. R nMy expectation when wearing glasses, if I see only using my cylinder eyes without normal eyes then the vision will be normal. Please enlighten me. R nThank you.
Cylindrical eyes can of course be corrected by using appropriate glasses. If your vision is still hazy, you need to consult your eye doctor again to get a treatment that suits you.
Cylindrical eye correction can also use contact lenses, LASIK and LASEK procedures. You can discuss this with your doctor further.
Cylindrical eye is a condition in which the cornea and lens of the sufferer are not perfectly convex like the curvature of a ball. As a result, the incoming light cannot focus on a single point on the retina, so vision is blurred or shaded.
Correction of your glasses immediately. Discuss further for the LASIK / LASEK procedure. Use your eyes well, avoid reading in a place that is not well lit. Hope this helps.
