Handling For Elongated Stirrup Wire?
Good night, so from yesterday my stirrup rope became long because it was time for me to go back to the orthodontic doctor, but my doctor was in Surabaya and I lived in Jakarta. My stirrup cord extends to make my gum area bleed while eating. Is there a dentist who only cuts the stirrup rope (I think it’s rather strange to go to the dentist just to cut the stirrup rope)? Because I just arrived in Surabaya in the middle of April and I felt it was urgent to cut the stirrup rope before irritation would occur and etc. thank you
Good morning, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. Metal ropes or stirrup wire that extends is indeed one of the inconveniences that can arise during using stirrup in addition to sprue, foods that are often involved, and stirrup that can come loose when chewing food too hard.
This elongated wire can be because the stirrup is in the stage of tidying or shrinking the dental arch, which over time naturally reduces the dental arch, the remaining wire will get longer. Another possibility could be due to laying that is not right, and there is stirrup that has been released for one reason or another.
Regarding this, there is indeed no dentist who specializes in cutting wire stirrup. The work entered into the realm of orthodontist dentists. So you still come to the dentist who specializes the same as your initial dentist, but only to cut the stirrup wire. No problem, especially if you are very disturbed by the wire.
Furthermore, if you really have difficulty keeping regular dental visits to your dentist because of its far enough position, you should start planning to move the dentist. This is important because if stirrup users do not control routines, their use can be longer and their effectiveness reduced. However, if you can meet routine control observance, it will be far better if you go to the same dentist from beginning to end. So, hopefully answering your question.
