Handling Of The Thin Membrane Under The Torn Tongue?
Morning, the thin membrane under my tongue was torn mostly but not completely and slightly bleeding but immediately disappeared when gargling with water, will it recover by itself and fine? If not what actions should I do at this time at home?
Good afternoon. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Tongue that looks bleeding can be associated with several conditions such as
1. Lack of vitamin C
2. Infection by fungus
3. Signs and symptoms of a decrease in the body's immune system
4. Side effects of medications such as steroids
To find out the exact cause you should consult yourself to the doctor. So that doctors can carry out further examinations and can estimate the cause.
Some things that should be done are
1. Maintain oral hygiene including the tongue by brushing using a soft brush
2. Gargle after eating
3. Consumption of vitamin C which is quite a few foods with high vitamin C is orange tomatoes.
If there is a bleeding tongue, a lump that quickly enlarges should immediately go to the hospital for examination.
