Handling Of Yellowish White Toenails?
Good evening doctor. My toenails are white to brass. Initially grew only a little, from right to left. Then a long time widening, until now the width of half my doctor’s thumb nails, sometimes it feels sore, then nails like separating from the skin (for the moldy). Then 2 days ago I had the initiative to give him antibiotics (my supertetra was opened and I applied it to the nails me) and finally my nails turn yellow. So what I’m asking is, do you have any doctor suggestions for what I should do for this case? Thank you 🙂
Good morning. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com. The condition that you experience can usually occur due to several things that might be experienced such as
fungal infection of the nails
use nail polish too often
systemic diseases such as sugar or psoriasis
This condition should be overcome by several things such as
Prevent nail dye first
Keep your nails clean by cleaning between your nails every 2 days
Avoid foods that are too high in sugar
If it does not improve, it is better to consult with a doctor, especially a dermatologist so that if needed further examination can be done, related to infection by fungi, the treatment is open with antibiotics but with antifungal fungal conditions will be different where it can be ointment or with oral medication, and treatment of nail infections because mushrooms are long term.
Thus the information that can be conveyed. Thank you
