Handling White Lumps In The Ear And Bleeding When Cleaned?
amualaikum, doctor my name is yeri I am 16 years old inside my left ear there is a white lump and when cleaning my ear it bleeds which sometimes hurts and my hearing decreases, is this dangerous? and how to solve it?
What you are experiencing can be caused by several conditions such as:
Bacterial infection Fungal infection Hardened earwax
Bacterial infection of the outer ear can cause ulcers which will cause lumps accompanied by pus and also pain that can close the ear canal, causing hearing loss. Fungal infections can also cause white lumps in the outer ear. Earwax that is dry and hardened will also be whitish in color which can clog the ears.
It's a good idea to check with your doctor. It is necessary to have a direct examination of your ear by a doctor to determine what you are experiencing. Because the causes are different, the treatment is different. Avoid picking at your ears, as this can cause ear injuries and risk spreading infection. And also avoid using drugs outside the doctor's advice because it is feared that they are not in accordance with what is needed or can actually be detrimental.
I hope this helps.
