Hands Hurt From Hitting The Wall?
My hand hurts when both of them hit it, 2 months ago I hit the wall but about 1 week ago I checked with the doctor, when it was broken, it didn’t crack. If allowed to be normal, but if my right hand is hit my right hand hurts my left hand seems not healed. My right hand also has a little lump. Thank you
Hi Upinze, Thank you for the question.
Any impact on the limb can impact the bones or soft tissue. The impact on the bone can be in the form of a fracture or joint dislocation. X-rays are an examination that is intended to determine whether this injury has affected your bones or not. If the X-ray doesn't show any abnormalities in your bones, then the cause of swelling and pain in your hands is due to injury to the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments). Healing of a soft tissue injury can take several weeks. You can do a warm compress to reduce swelling. Avoid using your hands for excessive activity. Please take paracetamol if the pain gets worse. If this complaint does not improve at all in the next 2 weeks, do not hesitate to return to consult your doctor.
