Hard Dirt On The Ears Of Babies Aged 11 Months?
Good morning, I want to ask now that my child is 11 months old and his ears have dirt like hard, and that is what I know when my child is 5 months old or not, I know it because I see a flashlight. I went to DSA when I wanted the vaccine and I asked all about my son’s ear and his DSA will not come out, the poop will come out on its own and it will be correct while the dirt will come out really hard, now that’s the right ear, the left ear will be cleaned clean eh In the morning, when I saw it, there was a bit of dirt in the palace. That’s what it seems, even though it’s still a baby, but the poop is so much. Even though every month the ears are cleaned even though it’s just the outer hole. Is that normal?
Good evening, thanks for the question
Cerumen or ear wax is a product of oil glands, skin epithelium that is released, and dust particles that are found in 1/3 of the outer ear canal. This serum serves as a defense against water or dust particles that enter the ear.
In some individuals can produce more serumen than others. It is still quite normal, but you should do a routine examination to the ENT doctor to check and clean cerumen.
The body has its own way to remove the wax, which is when it evaporates or chews. Do not force clean up too deep because it would risk pushing the wax deeper. Just clean the hole around the earlobe carefully.
That's all, hope you can help
