okrnrnI am a 17 year old female. On the lower right side of my buttocks there is a lump like a bump that was bitten by a hard mosquito. It’s been there since I was about 15 years old.rnThese bumps are black in color, don’t grow big, don’t itch and don’t hurt. But sometimes when sitting, these lumps feel very uncomfortable. What do you think it is? And how do I get rid of it huh?rnrnThanks 🙂

1 Answer:

Hi Zania,

Hard scars on the buttocks can occur due to several things, one of which is due to scars caused by skin infections, insect bites, boils or other conditions such as lumps due to abnormally growing fat, skin tumors or due to skin tags or skin growths. abnormal due to friction.

If you feel uncomfortable, you should check with a doctor or dermatologist to determine the cause. If necessary, the doctor will take action to overcome the lump, either by administering medication or by performing surgery to remove the lump. Avoid squeezing or fiddling with the lump to avoid irritation and further infection that can make the condition worse.

Hope it is useful,

dr. Adi P.
