Hard Lump Like Bone In The Throat And Makes A Sound When Moved?
si..rnI am a 21-year-old woman.. in the middle of the front of my throat there is a hard lump like bone, if you move it to the left and right it reads “crack crackle”. It’s been there since I was 12 years old.. but now it’s getting a little bigger.. if I eat spicy food it feels hot like it burns.. sometimes it feels like choking, lumps and aches in the back of the neck.. and the last 1 year until now my hair is falling out very badly. Does it have something to do with the lump in the throat?rnAnd if you want to check whether it’s true to go to an ENT specialist??rnThanks in advance😊
Lump on the neck can be caused due to various reasons. from the situation you are experiencing, if you have a lump on the front of the neck and there is a creaking sound when moved then this may be a normal thing. in the front of the neck, the part is composed of cartilage that can be moved slightly, so that it can cause a creaking sound when moved.
There are several other causes that can cause a lump in the neck such as:
goiter, inflammation of the thyroid gland, inflammation of the lymph nodes, bone dislocation, certain tumors from your condition, a burning sensation in your neck and a feeling of suffocation can be caused by a gerd. GERD or acid reflux disease in which stomach acid rises up into the throat, causing chest pain, burning sensation in the chest and neck, feeling like choking, bitter taste in the mouth.
However, the condition you are experiencing can also be caused by a hyperthyroidism / excess of thyroid hormone, causing hair loss, nausea, tightness, and enlargement of the neck area.
Therefore, to determine the cause of the condition you are experiencing, it is best if you consult a doctor directly so that the doctor can examine your condition directly. maybe later, additional examinations such as blood tests, X-rays, or CT scans will be carried out if necessary.
