Have Sex With More Than One Partner?
at morning..rnI’m 29 years old Hendra. My sister is now 8 weeks 5 days pregnant. She just told me that she not only had sex with her husband but she had another lover. And he also had sex with his girlfriend. My sister started her last menstrual period on December 19, 2017. Her normal menstrual period is 31 days. There was a delay in December, which was supposed to be on December 16th, but was late until December 19th. On December 30 she had sex with her husband on January 3-5 she had sex with her lover and on January 7 she had sex again with her husband. What I want to ask is whose sperm cell actually succeeded in fertilizing my sister’s egg cell??rnPlease help with the answer for my sister’s household.rnThank you..
Thanks for asking HealthReplies.com.
Pregnancy occurs when an egg cell is fertilized by a sperm cell. Sperm cells can survive in a woman's body for up to 48 hours. And this fertilization occurs when the woman's ovary releases an egg or is known as the ovulation period. This ovulation occurs on day 14-17 if menstruation is in a menstrual cycle that is about 28-30 days. Precisely ovulation in each woman is very different and in any one woman every month the ovulation cycle that occurs can change in other words there is no definite time. So it can be said that the sperm cell that can fertilize your sister's egg cannot be known with certainty.
It should be noted for your sister that having sex with more than one partner, especially if done unsafely, can be a risk for sexually transmitted infections that can interfere with women's reproductive health and interfere with health in general.
That's all I can say, hopefully useful.
