Haven’t Had An Appetite After Typhus?
Typhus, I have been admitted to the hospital after being hospitalized for 2 weeks at home, how come the food is still not good, why? Then how to cure it?rnThank you
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com. Typhus is a disease caused by Salmonella typhi bacteria. These germs enter the body through the digestive tract, which eventually causes digestive tract disorders. The symptoms of typhus are actually not typical -- many other infectious diseases resemble them. Symptoms of typhus include fever, headache, nausea, weakness, malaise, muscle/bone/joint pain, abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhea. Fever generally lasts more than 1 week and if it manages to enter the second week, the intestines can be injured and are at risk of rupture.
It's normal to not return your appetite after experiencing typhus. Because usually sufferers still feel a bunch of sequelae after treatment and because of that, we can think of "typhoid recovery" in about 2 weeks. However, if you are worried about your condition, check yourself again with the doctor who is treating you so that proper treatment can be carried out. The following tips may help:
· Avoid stress and physical exhaustion
· Drink at least 2 liters of water per day
· Eat little but often
· Sleep at least 7-8 hours a day
· Follow the doctor's instructions in treatment, so that the treatment can be completed and the disease can be cured
Thus the information from me, hopefully useful.
