Having Sex Before Installation Of Spiral KB?
Good afternoon, I want to ask, if having sex before installing KB spiral it allowed?
Spiral birth control or IUD is a contraceptive that can last for a long time, but the installation and removal must be by medical personnel such as doctors or midwives. If there are no other examinations to be performed (for example, all pap smear tests), then a spiral KB can be installed at any time, as long as it is certain not to be pregnant and not during heavy menstruation. You may still have sex before and after the installation of spiral KB. But if you plan to do another test as well, you should first consult with your obstetrician or midwife about the intimate relationship.
In general, a spiral birth control is recommended to be placed at the beginning or end of menstruation so that you feel more comfortable and reduce the possibility of pain caused during installation. Also during menstruation, make sure you are not pregnant so it is safe to do a spiral KB installation.
After a spiral KB is installed, often you will be asked to control 1 week or 1 month post-installation to assess the location or position of the spiral KB and see if there are complaints after installation. You can discuss with your obstetrician before installing a spiral KB.
Hope it helps you,
