Good morning, thanks for the question
Fertility returns quickly when you stop using 1-month contraception instead of 3-month injection. If you do not have an injection during the menstrual period, during the first 7 days you are advised not to have sex or use additional protection such as condoms. This is because the effect of hormones in the blood is still low at the beginning after the injection so it can not cause contraception. If on the 7th day you have unprotected sexual relations, there is still a risk of pregnancy. For now, it's best to do a test pack using morning urine first. If the result is positive it means you are pregnant and cannot continue the family planning method. Furthermore, you should do further tests with your obstetrician.
If you are declared not pregnant then in the future you should be more obedient by injecting according to schedule and using safety when advised by health workers for the success of the birth control you are using.
That's all, hope you can help
