What medicines can be taken?
HaloNursiah Irmayanti, thank you for asking the HealthReplies.com team.
Headaches that you feel, can be caused by various things, including namely:
- Sinusitis: The occurrence of inflammation or swelling of the tissue lining the sinus cavity. Can cause pain around the eyes / nose / cheeks, and produce yellowish mucus.
- Cluster type headaches: Namely extraordinary headaches, spread around the eyes even to the neck or shoulders. Sometimes the eyes turn red and runny.
- Tension headache or tension type headaches. Headaches on one side or both sides can be felt to the back of the neck. This condition can last a long time and can be caused by fatigue, stress, dehydration, etc.
- Migraine. Conditions where the head hurts on one side that feels throbbing and are generally accompanied by sensitivity to light or sound, nausea, and vomiting.
You can do the following at home: avoid cigarettes and alcoholic beverages, avoid caffeine consumption, get adequate rest, manage stress well, avoid allergic triggers if you have certain allergies, regular exercise, increase consumption of water, consume balanced nutritious food, and You can take over-the-counter pain relievers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen.
Do some of these things at home, if the complaints don't get better, then you can see a doctor. Due to the corona virus outbreak at this time, it is better to limit activities outside the home, keep a distance of 2 meters with others, wear a mask when outside activities, routinely wash hands with soap, keep your body and family endurance.
Thank you, hope that helps.
