Head Dizzy And Nauseous After Hitting The Neck?
eher i got stuck in a hairpin, i didn’t vomit but after that my neck was sore and my head was dizzy and a bit nauseous, is it dangerous? thanks.
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
A strong collision in the neck area can indeed trigger nausea. This is because, in the neck area, precisely in the throat, cranial nerve fibers, namely the trigeminal nerve and the vagus nerve, pass through which play a role in regulating the gag reflex (vomiting reflex).
As long as you don't experience frequent vomiting, mucus or vomiting of blood, difficulty breathing, hoarseness, or a severe sore throat, these are probably only temporary and harmless effects of the injury.
You can overcome your aches, dizziness, and nausea with the following steps:
Compress sore neck with warm water
Drink lots of warm water
Eat little but regularly
Reduce first foods that can trigger nausea, such as spicy foods, coconut milk, tubers, mustard greens, cabbage, or soda
Get plenty of rest
Don't scream too loud
Stay calm, no need to worry or panic too much
The concern from a hard impact in the neck area is injury to the internal organs in that area, namely the thyroid gland, pharynx, larynx, trachea, and spine. You need to be aware of a dangerous condition if after the impact there is vomiting, mucus or vomiting blood, difficulty breathing, hoarseness, or severe sore throat, or bruising around the neck. If you experience this condition, then immediately consult a doctor so that further treatment can be done.
I hope this helps.
