Headache Feels Dizzy After Recovering From An Ear Infection?
Yesterday I had an earache and then I went to the doctor. He said I had an ear infection and was given medication and has been cured.
Hello Maulidaasgp, thank you for asking.
Ear infections that cause dizziness or impaired balance are generally located in the middle ear. Infection can be caused by bacteria or viruses. Infection affecting the middle ear often irritates the inner ear. In the inner ear, there is a balance organ and hearing organ. If the inner ear is impaired, then it is possible for someone to experience dizziness or headaches, hearing loss, or balance problems (such as staggering).
You should consult with your doctor again. The doctor will decide whether you should continue treatment or maybe the doctor will add other drugs that can overcome the dizziness. The doctor may also conduct further tests to find out if there are other abnormalities that interfere with the ear. In the meantime you should still consume the drug according to doctor's orders. Overcome your dizziness with paracetamol or ibuprofen 3 times a day. Try not to drive a vehicle if a headache is very severe, because it is at risk of an accident. Hope this answer helps you. Regards.
