Thank you for the question.
Fever or an increase in body temperature so that it becomes more than 37.5 degrees Celsius is a sign of the body's defense against stimuli that arise from the outside, such as an infection or dehydration conditions. Fever itself has many causes, depending on when the fever appeared, the pattern of fever, and other symptoms that you feel. The following things can be caused by fever which is marked by pain in the bones:
Covid-19. Fever with pain in the body can be an early symptom of Covid-19, but you do not need to panic, because usually in this disease there are other symptoms such as sore throat, coughing colds, and shortness of breath. Check your covid-19 risk here.
Typhus or typhoid fever.
Here are things you can do at home to reduce complaints:
Rest for a while, at least the next 14 days.
Take pain relievers and fever-lowering drugs such as paracetamol taken 3-4 times per day.
Cold compresses on the painful part.
Inadequate nutrition needs and drink 2-3L a day. Fever can occur due to dehydration.
Manage stress well.
Regular exercise 3-5x per week.
Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol.
Contact your doctor if after 3-5 days there is no improvement in fever with paracetamol, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea is severe, there are bleeding nose / gums, there is shortness of breath, contact your doctor immediately.
Hopefully this information can help and hopefully get well soon.
