Headaches Every Night With Flu And Cough With Phlegm?
I have a lot of activity now because of school from 7 am to 6 pm, every night I feel back and front headaches followed by a runny nose and cough with phlegm. Is this headache a serious thing? Or just because of the flu huh?
Hello Santi, thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Previously, I will try to answer your question, Dr. Rio.
Based on the complaint you feel, the headache complaint arises due to flu symptoms that you experience. Flu is a disease caused by a viral infection, which is usually transmitted through the air. The flu itself can cause complaints and disorders along the respiratory tract starting from the nose, throat, even to the lungs.
Flu symptoms that can arise include such as fever, runny nose, nasal congestion, and headaches. Although it is the same as the symptoms of a common cold cough, flu symptoms are more severe and often strike suddenly. Diseases caused by this virus can heal by itself. However, if it becomes more and more disturbing, seek medical attention immediately if the above symptoms do not improve after two weeks, or improve but then worsen. Emergency measures need to be taken if flu symptoms are accompanied by shortness of breath.
Right now what you can do is:
Get plenty of rest and sleep
Eat nutritious foods and drink lots of water
Wear a mask to reduce and protect yourself from more severe transmission
It is recommended to diligently wash hands before eating or after carrying out activities / contaminated
The most effective way to prevent colds is to carry out influenza vaccination.
Consult a doctor if complaints do not improve even more burdensome.
That's all my answer, Thank you
hope it helps and always healthy :)
