Headaches In The Back That Do Not Heal.?
Hello, I’m a final year student. Lately I often experience headaches in the back, and it lasts for several days, even when I pray and prostrate. The pain is gripping the back only. I guess that’s why, what should I do ??
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Headache at the back of the intensity is quite severe as if gripped may indicate tension headache (tension type headache, TTH). This condition, in more severe cases, can cause uncomfortable sensations that spread to the neck and shoulders. Not yet known what exactly causes this condition. However, many experts suspect this condition occurs due to excessive contraction of muscles around the face, neck and head that are triggered by excessive psychological stress. There are also those who think that this headache occurs due to increased sensitivity to pain in sensitive people.
Not only tension head pain, back head pain as you feel it may also indicate other medical conditions, such as hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, cerebral aneurysm, brain or neck tumor, neck nerve nerves, post head or neck injuries, meningitis, viral or other bacterial infections migraines and so on.
To be clear, you should check yourself directly to the doctor or neurologist so that the best treatment is provided. In cases that are suspected to be severe, your doctor may also recommend that you undergo a supporting examination, such as x-rays, CT scans, or MRI.
In the meantime, so that complaints improve, you try to live the following tricks first:
Compress your head back to your neck and shoulders with warm water
Do not massage carelessly head and neck pain
Don't use a pillow that is too high when you sleep
Expand relaxation and meditation
Eat and drink enough, reduce foods high in salt, high in cholesterol, and contain too much flavoring
Don't smoke or consume alcohol
Avoid excessive stress
Hope this helps ...
