Headaches To The Eyes Accompanied By Nausea And No Appetite?
Hello doctor. I often experience headaches as well as eye pain at the edges too. For example the right side of the head that is sick and painful eating the right eye also becomes aches and pains. In addition, if this pain recurred, I became nauseous and did not have an appetite because I was sick. And this pain can take up to 2-3 days to heal. Why are you doing this? What illness and what should I do? thank you
Headaches are often a complaint experienced, especially in women of childbearing age. Headaches themselves can be caused by many things, depending on the symptoms they have, such as whether the headache feels throbbing, like being tied, is it only one side, two sides, or there is spread to the neck, is accompanied by pain in the face, nausea / vomiting, sensitive to light, and whether triggered by stress, activity, and other illnesses that accompany it.
The following are common causes of headaches:
Migraine. Tension type headache (feeling like being tied). Cluster type headache (watery eyes / nose). Trigeminal neuralgia (pain in the face). Hypertension. High cholesterol. In rare cases, there is an infection of the brain and membranes, or brain tumors. Then here are the things you can do to minimize the headaches you have.
Take over the counter headache medications, such as paracetamol. If it doesn't work, you can increase the dose or use drugs such as NSAIDs (Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs). Reducing strenuous activity when headaches occur. Manage stress well. Adequate intake of healthy nutrients and drink 2-3L per day. Reduce foods that contain high salt and high cholesterol. Do not smoke and drink alcoholic drinks. Regular exercise 3-5x per week. Hope this helps :)
