Good afternoon, I ask, every day I go to bed at 8 pm then wake up at 2 am followed by learning activities and 30 minutes of exercise (warm up and skipping). Is it wrong in my life pattern? and can it interfere with my health?

To maintain good health, a person is recommended to adopt a healthy lifestyle, one of which is sufficient rest. The recommended bed rest / time for each age group is not the same; for individuals aged 18 to 64 years, it is recommended to rest adequately for 7-9 hours every day and aged 65 years and over for 7-8 hours every day. Apart from age, one's sleep needs also depend on sleep quality, previous sleep deprivation conditions, pregnancy, other medical conditions, and so on. If you are in the age range of 18-64 years, then sleeping for 6 hours is not enough. Lack of sleep can interfere with someone in their daily activities. However, as mentioned before, the adequacy of sleep depends on the quality of sleep, previous sleep deprivation conditions, and so on; if you have poor sleep quality (often waking up) or you have had a lack of sleep before, then you are taking longer to sleep.


In addition to adequate sleep, healthy lifestyle also includes:

Consumption of nutritious foods regularly, for example vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds. Limit consumption of saturated fats and trans fats
consume enough water
exercise regularly for at least 30 minutes every day
managing stress well or in other words maintaining mental health well; this also includes building good relationships with family and others
avoid smoking and consuming alcoholic drinks
regularly check health with doctor
