Heart Beating All The Time?
Hello, I want to ask. It’s been 4 days my chest feels tight like full of phlegm and throat sometimes sometimes feels hot or there is a lump, and also suddenly likes to feel nauseous like someone wants to come out of my throat, then also accompanied by a beating heart. On the 3rd day I visited the doctor for treatment, I was given sputum thinner medication to expel the sputum and shortness of breath medicine. I feel shortness of breath is still there but can still breathe normally but my heart still feels palpitating until now and it is all the time pounding. I have a history of heartburn. And also I do not feel a fever, fatigue, or even a cold cough. What should I do to recover? Thank you, doctor.

The heart in adults beats normally with a frequency of 60-100 times every minute. In situations where the body needs more oxygen, the body's compensation mechanism will usually occur ie one of them will beat faster, for example during exercise. Some of the causes of a faster heart beat / palpitations are read here.
For now with outbreaks of Corona infection, it is advisable for you to stay home and postpone seeing a doctor unless there is an emergency such as complaints accompanied by chest pain that extends to the arms, neck and back and nausea vomiting and cold sweat or tightness complaints that do not make you unable to sleep or even aggravate during sleep. Therefore management at home before seeing a doctor must be done more optimally.
That's all, hope it helps.
