I have followed the doctor’s advice to maintain food and eating hours, I have followed the rest schedule and I have finished the medicine. since february to mid march i feel very good but i still maintain my eating and resting schedule according to the doctor’s advicernmid march yesterday until now suddenly my stomach is often bloated in the afternoon until night. I checked with the clinic doctor and he said it was just bloating.rnBut my body temperature started to drop again when I was bloated. Yesterday before going to bed my stomach was bloated so I tried to eat biscuits before going to bed but when I fell asleep, in the middle of the night I suddenly woke up because my heart was pounding and I started having difficulty breathing, my body felt cold again and cold sweat came out. do i need to check with a gastro expert? or is this just bloating?rnthank you

1 Answer:

good tikka,

Bloating refers to the feeling of fullness one feels as if one's stomach is full of something which can eventually lead to nausea. As for this bloating, it can simply be caused by eating too much, drinking too much, or producing too much gas in the stomach, for example in conditions of a gastrointestinal infection or heartburn due to an imbalance of stomach acid. Gastric problems can be so complex because in most cases a problematic stomach condition can cause various symptoms such as shortness of breath. Apart from eating patterns, stomach acid can also be caused by psychological problems, where psychological conditions such as anxiety, panic, and psychological stress can cause IBS complaints or Irritable Bowel Syndrome which is characterized by a set of uncomfortable symptoms in the stomach such as fullness, nausea, vomiting accompanied by a change in bowel pattern. A similar psychological condition can also cause shortness of breath accompanied by cold sweat all over the body.

Of course it's too early for us to diagnose you without a complete physical examination. Therefore, we can only advise you to stay away from spicy food, coconut milk, caffeinated drinks, late eating habits, and psychological stress, and recommend that you go back to your doctor, at least to an internal medicine doctor, to re-do a clinical evaluation in relation to the symptoms you are experiencing. Here we attach an article about stomach ulcers. Hope it is useful.
