Diarrhea in your child can be caused by various possibilities including:
Infection by a virus
Infection by bacteria, or parasites
Allergy to certain foods or drinks
To ascertain the cause of the complaint, the doctor will conduct a series of examinations and several examinations if needed. Treatment will adjust to the cause of diarrhea. Complications that occur in diarrhea that often occurs is dehydration which in severe circumstances can cause death. If your child has difficulty eating or drinking, then this is part of the symptoms of diarrhea or problems in your child's intestines.
What you can do:
Give food or drink as often as possible even in small amounts
Give ORS and paracetamol if you have a fever
Increase the amount of fluid you drink
Maintain food hygiene and food equipment
Familiarize children washing hands
If you feel worried and your child starts showing symptoms of dehydration such as weakness, etc. then it is better for you to visit the pediatrician or emergency room at the nearest hospital to get the right treatment.
