Good afternoon, I almost had the last 2th accident and the cheekbones were hit hard, it used to be swollen and until now it is like a blood clot which does not hurt when squeezed just a little harder than the cheek next door, but if you look at it at first glance there is no bump just the cheeks are bigger than the cheeks cheek next to it. Good night Diah, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Reading your complaints and history, the best way to deal with your current complaint is based on the underlying cause that causes the swelling. To find out the cause, then you should consult further with your doctor to ascertain whether the lump was indeed caused by an accident that you have experienced or not or caused by other conditions such as bruises on the cheek muscles, inflammation of the sinuses, broken cheekbones and others . The doctor may ask you to do some tests such as x-ray (x-ray) of the bones of the face, CT-Scan of the head or even an MRI examination if it is needed to help determine the cause of the lump. After that the new doctor decides what actions should be taken to eliminate it, you may also be referred to certain specialists to get certain actions or treatments that are in accordance with the ability of the specialist doctor so that your therapy is optimal.
For the time being, avoid stressing on the area that you feel has a lump because it can risk causing enlargement of the lump. Avoid repeated collisions in the enlarged cheek area, and follow the advice given by your doctor.
I hope this helps.
