How Do You Get Your Child To Drink Milk Directly From Their Mother?
my child is one month old … every time I want to breastfeed him. he always refused morbidly. but if I am pumping my breast milk then put in a new pacifier bottle he wants to suckle. how is the solution so that he wants to breastfeed from his mother directly without having to pumping and in a pacifier bottle. thank you
Hello Irna, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Reading the problems you are experiencing at the moment, this might be due to lack of bond between mother and child, discomfort when the child is about to breastfeed or a fear of the child at the time of breastfeeding, therefore, you should consult further about this to the pediatrician to help determine whether there are certain problems in your child so that your child does not want to breastfeed directly. Afterwards, the best therapy can be decided to help overcome the problem you are experiencing.
In the meantime, you can still try to meet your child's breastfeeding needs by bottle feeding, but it is recommended to try the following things to help your child want to breastfeed to you, such as:
Breastfeed with the state of your body is clean, especially on the breast nipples
Position your child in a comfortable position when breastfeeding
Attach your child directly to your chest before starting the breastfeeding process to make him feel comfortable and recognize you, let your child look for your own nipples
Do this every time you will give ASI
Perform other activities that increase ties between mother and child, such as sleeping together, spending a lot of time caring for the child and others
I hope this helps.
