How Do You Overcome Social Anxiety Disorder?
I sometimes like being embarrassed when faced with people but more precisely I panic. Especially if I have to present my school work. I happened that I could experience cold sweat, my hands, feet, lips and voice trembled. Heart beating fast. So I prefer to be alone, not that I can’t mingle with others but I just feel calmer when alone. I want to go back to normal again, how to overcome it
Hello, thanks for the question.
For complaints that you feel can be caused by several things, including:
1. Social phobia
2. Panic disorders
3. Comprehensive anxiety disorder
Social phobia is a condition of anxiety that arises when a person performs daily activities that interact with other people around him.
Symptoms of phobia are usually anxiety to panic, fear of meeting other people or being in a place or public, afraid of being noticed by others, always trying to avoid meeting other people, fear when having public presentations, cold sweat, chest pain, palpitations.
Panic disorder is usually a complaint that is felt without a clear trigger, it can appear at any time and suddenly. Usually influenced by stress factors, traumatic events or family offspring.
Comprehensive anxiety disorder is an anxiety that arises with the trigger is everything about life, such as excessive concern about the safety of children and her husband who went to school and work.
To determine more precisely what complaints you are experiencing include what symptoms and how to treat them, you should consult directly with a psychiatrist. The possibility of mental specialists will give medicines if needed.
The fix for a while:
- try to think more positively and calmly about yourself, others and the environment.
- read lots of prayers or remember God and all his kindness so that the heart becomes calmer
- assume other people around us are friends, not a burden or something to be feared, because they and we are actually the same as an ordinary human :)
Thus, hopefully useful :)
