How Long Is Shortness Of Breath After Smell Sulfur?
Hello, I’m xan 23 years old, last weekend I went to soak in hot water (sulfur water), then I felt shortness of breath, itching in the throat and body aches about 3-4 days, is that fair?
Thank you for the question.
Prolonged contact with sulfur water can indeed cause muscle and joint pain. Not only that, inhaling fumes from sulfur water can also make the airway become inflamed, until finally there is tightness and itching in the throat.
However, in addition to being affected by the water in the sulfur, your complaints may also arise due to other factors, for example pharyngitis, allergies, viral or bacterial infections, gastric acid reflux, fibromyalgia, bronchitis, asthma, gastritis, psychological disorders, and so on.
In order for your complaints to improve, you need to see yourself directly to a doctor or internist. Through direct physical examination, or maybe assisted by X-ray examinations and other supporting tests, surely the doctor can give you the right management.
In the meantime, you can make your complaint first by:
Warm compresses on your tight chest and painful body
Don't eat and drink cold, artificial sweets, oily, and take it away
Don't eat too late
Don't shout too much
Drink warm water at least 2-3 liters a day
Don't use excessive fan and AC
Stay away from contact with substances that make you allergic
Stay away from cigarettes
Limit first soaking in warm sulfur water. If you want, then limit your bathing time to avoid more than 10 minutes.
Hope this helps ...
