How To Calculate The Due Date Of Birth?
I want to ask the estimated HPHT on July 1, 2017 what is the HPL date?
Having a baby is the dream of every woman because it makes her a mother figure. Therefore, a lot of preparation has been done, especially before the birth of the baby such as preparing clothes, bedding and others. From here, usually someone wants to estimate the due date of birth or HPL of her pregnancy. The HPL is calculated by the Naegele formula using the day, month, and year of the First Day of the Last Menstruation or HPHT, namely:
(Day + 7 ). (Month - 3) . (Year+1) --> for HPHT above March
(Day + 7).(Month +9).(Fixed year) --> for HPHT until March
If your HPHT is July 1, 2017 then the calculation of HPL is:
Day = 1 + 7 = 8
Moon = 7-3 = 4
Year = 2017 + 1 = 2018
So according to the formula, your estimated birth is April 8, 2018. But of course this formula does not necessarily ensure that birth can occur on that date. The formula calculates the 40th week from the first day of the last period, while birth can occur from the 37th week to the 42nd week. Therefore, there is no need to worry if the baby is not born on the predicted date. Keep checking your womb at the obstetrician, and follow the instructions and delivery plans set by the doctor. Here we attach an article regarding the date of birth. Hope it is useful.
