How To Cope With Nosebleeds 2 Days Have Not Healed?
Asalam mualaikum, my name is rido doctor. My sister has been bleeding for two days if the doctor has medicine for my sister, I feel sorry for my sister, I beg for your help, doctor
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
The discharge of blood through the nasal cavity is called nosebleeds or epistaxis. There are 2 types of epistaxis, namely anterior epistaxis (front) and posterior epistaxis (back). The most common is anterior epistaxis.
Most anterior epistaxis occurs due to rupture of capillary arteries found in the walls of the nasal lobe (called the kisselbach plexus). Capillary blood vessels are indeed fragile so they break easily when scraping the nose, dry air, blowing snot strongly, bumping even though only a small impact, fever, decreased body platelet levels (although only slightly low below normal values) and others. This type of nosebleed is nothing to worry about, just press it for about 10 to 15 minutes on the nostril area and the nosebleeds will stop. When nosebleeds occur, the patient must remain in an upright position or sit with the body leaning forward.
If by the way the nosebleeds have not stopped or there are repeated nosebleeds or many nosebleeds until they fall into the throat (suspected posterior epistaxis), immediately consult the nearest doctor. The doctor will provide treatment to stop nosebleeds and find out the cause of nosebleeds.
Thus hopefully useful.
