How To Deal With A 2 Year Old Child Who Lacks Appetite?
My child is 2 years old, he has a lack of appetite, I want to give him milk f u0026amp; N, is that okay?
Hi Shasant, thanks for the question for HealthReplies.com
First, I want to make sure what type of F&N milk you want to use. In general, this milk is evaporated milk, or milk that is removed part of the water, so that the milk tastes thicker. There are 2 types of evaporated milk, unsweetened evaporated milk and sweetened evaporated milk (also known as sweetened condensed milk).
Although evaporated milk is okay to be given to children over 1 year old, it is best if giving this milk does not replace the provision of pasteurized fresh cow's milk or UHT milk (can be given only occasionally). The vitamins and minerals contained in evaporated milk are not as high as those contained in ordinary fresh cow's milk, so that their administration cannot replace cow's milk.
Evaporated milk will not increase the child's overall appetite. If your child has difficulty eating so that there are obstacles in gaining weight, you should take your child to the pediatrician for further tests.
So much information from me, hopefully it will be enough to answer
