How To Deal With Anxiety, Hallucinations, And Insomnia?
I am 18 years old, I often shut myself up in my room and often fantasize and talk to myself, I am antisocial and not good at socializing, I am very secretive and rarely tell me about my problems whether to family, friends, or close people. I always feel afraid to expressing my feelings and telling stories about the problems I was experiencing, so that I ended up more often alone and talking to myself to vent. I often feel anxious when I am in crowded places. I often feel that I always pay attention. Besides that lately I always have hallucinations and feel like there is always someone watching and paying attention to me anywhere even when I’m alone, and this starts to bother me. I also often insomnia, and there are times when I feel very depressed I often think of committing suicide and hurting myself … So I ask for an explanation about my situation, do I have a mental disorder ?? and how to solve it ?? Thank you…

Based on the complaints you experience, there are several possible diseases that are classified as mental disorders, including;
1. Schizotypal personality disorder
Personality disorder or personality disorder is a psychiatric disorder that affects a person in thinking, feeling and behaving and settling in for about 1 year. This personality disorder is divided into 3 groups, namely;
- Cluster A: schizoid, paranoid, and schizotypal personality disorders
- Cluster B: antisocial, borderline, and narcissistic personality disorders
- Cluster C: anxiety-avoidance, dependent, and obsessive-compulsive personality disorders
In schizotypal personality disorder, sufferers often look anxious and uncomfortable in a crowded environment, sufferers also often fantasize. People with schizotypal disorders also often experience hallucinations, but the period is lighter than schizophrenia. In this disorder, sufferers can still distinguish between real life and not.
This disease is a chronic mental disorder that causes sufferers to experience hallucinations, delusions that are difficult to distinguish between real life and not, chaotic thoughts and changes in behavior. This condition is a severe condition. Schizophrenia also consists of several types such as paranoid schizophrenia, hebephrenic, etc. Feeling always being watched and paying attention as you experience can be called paranoid waham (thoughts that individuals truly believe in and find it difficult to tell the truth). This will be very dangerous if your thoughts of hurting yourself and even committing suicide are caused by a voice or someone who seems to order you and is difficult to control. We recommend that you seek treatment immediately to a psychiatric specialist.
3. Depression with symptoms of psychosis
Depression is a mood disorder that affects how you think, feel and deal with life. Sufferers will feel sad, hopeless, feel worthless, lose interest in things that used to be loved, or blame themselves can even lead to suicide. When symptoms of hallucinations and delusions appear, they show signs of psychosis.
In cases like this it can be caused due to an imbalance of neurotransmitter substances in the brain such as drug users, alcohol, genetics or family descent, triggered by immediate environmental conditions, personality, and stress. Many things can cause a person to experience stress, including losing a job, losing a home, losing loved ones, divorce, sexual harassment, and so on.
You should consult a psychiatrist or psychiatric specialist so that your symptoms do not get worse. The doctor will ask some questions both to you and your closest family to find out your psychological. In addition to a psychological evaluation, sometimes your doctor will also order other types of tests, such as a CT scan, MRI, and blood tests to see if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or certain diseases. When the diagnosis has been established, the doctor will prescribe medication that must be taken regularly as well as psychological therapy.
