How To Deal With Breast Lumps At A Young Age?
Hello, I’m 17 years old, I think I got a benign breast tumor because I searched on Google for the exact symptoms and added mm I used to be there too. I want a consultation / surgery with a female doctor. Can a doctor give you a suggestion or not, where is the hospital that can treat my illness but the doctor is a woman? And just for my knowledge, what surgery do I have to go to the surgeon? Oncology / internal medicine or what? Thanks a lot
Hello good morning Sis Salsabila. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com
Lumps in the breast at a young age can be caused by tissue growth. Characteristics such as texture, shape, size, structure of the skin will affect the diagnosis of the lump. This can have several diagnoses that may be like.
Fibroadnemoa is a benign tumor in the form of connective tissue that is usually experienced by the age of 20-30 years. Symptoms felt are lumps measuring 1 to 5 cm with a firm border, the skin does not appear to change, the lump can move (mobile), usually painless and does not enlarge rapidly.
Fibrocystis is a benign tumor in the form of fat tissue which will usually be accompanied by pain and enlargement during menstruation, it will usually appear around the age of 30-50 years.
Lipomas are lumps of fat under the skin where this can occur not only in the breast but can in other areas. Included as a benign tumor and usually will appear around the age of 40-60 years.
To determine the diagnosis, a physical examination will be carried out by a doctor and better yet take a sample of tissue so that it can be examined under a microscope. Consultation with a surgeon can be to a general surgeon or if you want to be more specialized to a specialist oncology surgeon can be found at the following link.
That's the thing we can say. May be useful. Thank you
