Hello Rayihan Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com
Bruises that occur due to injuries, for example due to collisions caused by rupture of blood vessels under the skin, making the skin appear purple or bluish.
Bruises can usually disappear within 2 - 4 weeks depending on the extent of the bruising. Besides bruising, other conditions that can arise from injuries such as swelling, and severe pain can be more serious medical conditions such as fractures or fractured bones.
Direct examination is needed to determine the lump you are referring to, the lump can be a swelling of the surrounding tissue that has been injured, or it is a hematoma or a clot of clotted blood. however, if a complaint of bruising is accompanied by severe pain and swelling that does not go away from 30 minutes you can consult the problem with your doctor at the nearest health facility. Furthermore, the doctor will probably do some checks on you for example X-rays on your feet.
In the meantime you can do the following to reduce bruising:
Compress with an ice cube that has bruises, use a clean cloth or towel filled with ice and then compress on the bruise for 10 minutes then repeat several times to reduce swelling, and bruises
Take care of the part of the body that has a bruise or injury by minimizing movement in the area to help the healing process and reduce swelling
Lift the injured leg higher than your chest, for example by using a stack of pillows
After 3 days of cold compresses, bruises can then be compressed with a warm towel to increase blood flow
If severe swelling and pain occur within 30 minutes, you should immediately consult a doctor
If the bruise does not disappear within 2-4 weeks consult a doctor
