The next 2 days on the other hand small bumps and many bumps appeared on the left and right hands. and now it’s come down to my body. small but many, it’s weird not itchy. what is this cause? and how are the countermeasures? thank you..
Good morning, thanks for the question
Swelling or bumps in these conditions can be caused by one condition called piloris keratosis. Piloric keratosis is the accumulation of keratin substances that function as a protective skin from friction, then clog the hair follicles to form lumps on the surface of the skin. Symptoms include spots on the surface of the skin, locations such as the arms, thighs, face, or buttocks. Spots can be white or reddish, and are generally not accompanied by symptoms of pain or itching.
Your doctor may recommend the use of moisturizers to soothe inflamed skin, treat dry skin, and to improve the appearance of skin lesions. Topical creams are also recommended to remove dead skin cells and prevent clogging of hair follicles. In addition therapies that can be used include:
1. Exfoliating Cream
2. Chemical peeling
3. Retinoid cream
Make further consultations with a dermatologist for a physical examination to determine the diagnosis of skin disorders, and get adequate treatment. Here are things you can do at home to reduce symptoms:
1. Do not linger when bathing
2. Using mild soap that does not use fragrance
3. Using loose clothing made of cotton
That's all, hope you can help.
