Excuse me … I want to ask about using contact lenses. When I was cleaning my contact lens, I accidentally dropped my contact lens on the blanket. And I also doubt whether my blanket is sterile or not, even though the original is clean, the name microbes can live in any place. That makes me doubt. After that I immediately cleaned my contact lens twice according to the procedure. Approximately the contact lens is still safe to use or not. Thank you

Hello Azzahra,

Contact lenses can be used as an alternative to glasses. But users of contact lenses must be more careful in caring for and using contact lenses. Softlens treatment is more complex than glasses. Here is how to treat and clean contact lenses:

Note the expiration date and the contact period of the contact lens
Do not use contact lenses that have expired or have expired
Use special liquid contact lenses in the contact lens storage area
Clean the contact lens storage area regularly
Wash hands before wearing and removing contact lenses
Clean the contact lens by placing the contact lens in the palm of your hand and pouring the contact lens liquid, then clean it in a circular motion for 15-20 seconds, removing the remaining liquid, turning the contact lens, and repeat the same steps
Change the contact lens liquid in the contact lens storage area each time you use it

If the contact lens falls, it will be better if you replace it with a new contact lens. But actually, depending on the condition of the contact lens and the location of the fall, you can clean the contact lens properly and you can try to use it again. However, if the contact lens feels uncomfortable, you should immediately release the contact lens and replace it with a new one. If you then experience eye complaints after using contact lenses, you should consult with your doctor directly.

Hope it helps you,

Thank you
