Hello Anarafa Thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Multiple polyps vesica fellea or gallbladder polyps are prominent tissue growths (tumors) in the gallbladder. These polyps can be caused by accumulation of cholesterol or due to the results of inflammation or previous infection in the gallbladder area.
Most gallbladder polyps are benign. Polyps are usually asymptomatic but abdominal pain, inflammation or infection of the gallbladder can also occur. Some of the factors that cause gall bladder polyps include disorders of cholesterol / fat metabolism and genetic factors.
Until now, treatment that can be done for gallbladder polyps is surgery. However, polyps that are less than 1cm are usually harmless and no action is required, but you should consult a surgeon for the best treatment. The doctor may also suggest conducting other radiological examinations such as ultrasonography (USG) replication at 6 or 1 year, to see the development of polyps.
Hopefully this information can be useful, thank you.
