How To Deal With Headaches, Colds And Fever?
Hello, I have had a cold for about a week, the fever has gone down, but the cold is still runny, in the first 3 days the snot is thick green, then it’s liquid clear color until now, and if I look up, my eyeballs hurt. Please help, thank you
Good evening, thanks for the question
Complaints that are felt include colds, headaches and fever are indeed likely caused by influenza. Influenza is an infectious disease that attacks the upper respiratory tract and is caused by an RNA virus that is influenza A or B viruses. Influenza is a self limiting disease, meaning that the disease can recover spontaneously gradually even without treatment as the immune system improves.
It is very natural that this time the disease has not fully recovered from the above symptoms, because generally the disease will recover within 1-2 weeks, but the severe symptoms are usually already much reduced in 2-3 days, so no need to worry too much.
Things that need to be improved are endurance by resting 2-3 days, reducing excessive physical activity, increasing nutritional food with high-calorie and high-protein foods, and fruits that are high in vitamin C.
In the future you should pay attention to the following. In order to avoid transmission of the virus by:
1. Always wash your hands, before eating or after traveling.
2. Cover mouth and nose or wear a mask when sneezing or coughing.
3. Adequate and balanced intake of vitamins and nutrients. Adequate rest.
4. Exercise regularly.
5. Sufficient fluid needs by consuming enough water.
That's all, hope you can help
